A Portfolio Loan is effectively a revolving line of credit secured by the borrower’s home. Portfolio Loans are designed to assist the borrower in paying off their home sooner and access the available home equity in order to purchase other investments such as real estate or shares.

Portfolio Loans offer more flexibility than a regular line of credit. With such a loan you are able to deposit all your income directly into the loan account, thereby reducing your interest expense. You are also able to attach sub-accounts to your loan. This is particularly useful in providing a segregation between personal and investment expenses.

Portfolio Loans are available as both Full Doc and Low Doc facilities.
